Serengeti Safari and Zanzibar 10 Days – Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport our ambassador will meet you and drive to hotel in Arusha. Later our safari manager will come for full safari briefing and leave you to enjoy the perfect weather of Arusha city and lodge facilities.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your real wildlife safari begins with a two hour drive to Tarangire national park which is popular for its big herds of elephants and the big baobab trees. After a few minutes registration at the gate you will embark on your primary game drive right away in search of the big game and spend the full day in the bush with picnic lunch taken at one of the picnic places. At Tarangire you guess to have a highlight of all the Tanzania safari with a lot of chance to spot zebras, elephants, gazelles, impalas, buffalos, the rare gerenuks with a little bit of luck you can spot the cats like leopard, cheetahs, and lions but also the rare fringe earned oryx. Tarangire national park is also popular for birds including rare ones like the Ashy Starling and many more.

Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti national park

After breakfast departs for Serengeti national park "The wild Africa" driving is cross domestic villages and along the high laying farmland of Karatu until you arrive at Ngorongoro gate. After registration and other park formalities you will drive up to the higlands of Ngorongoro 2,300 meters, stop at the crater view point for some remarkable photos of the crater floor from above. After, drive along the Crater rim and down to the limitless rolling plains of Serengeti national park. Spend some time for registration and other park formalities, this will be time to have your packed lunch and so begin your afternoon game drives in the Serengeti in search of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Arrive at the Camp during or before the sunset.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti

We advise an early morning game drive starting at 6:30, depart your campsite after a cup of coffee carry your lunch box and breakfast box. Early morning game drives permit you to witness the charming sunrise in the Serengeti with chances of spotting cats family on the road as the spend most of their morning time on the road rejecting the morning mist.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

One this day the excellent camping safari and Zanzibar beach holiday takes you to the globe nature wonder the Ngorongoro crater. Depart Serengeti after breakfast; en-route game drives up to Naabi Hills Gate and past Malanja depression, reach Ngorongoro Conservation area and descent six-hundred meters into the Crater floor for game viewing.

Ngorongoro crater the Eden of Africa was formed some million years ago due to inside forces, after eruption in left a big caldera which mistakenly known as Crater. Supported by yearly around water supply from the highland of Ngorongoro and sufficient fodder the Crater supports a big range of wildlife contain herds of zebra, wildebeest, hippos, elephant, topi, buffalo, and the rare black rhino.

Day 6: Fly to Zanzibar Island

After the breakfast at the camp you will drive to the Seronera airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Along the way to the airstrip you will have the chance to do your last game viewing. On arrival at Zanzibar our reprehensive will pick up from the airport and transfer you to the Ocean Paradise Resort at Kinwengwa beach in the East Coast of the island. All meals added.

Day: 7, 8 and 9: Zanzibar Beach Vacation

After your safari in Northern Tanzania it is now time to enjoy the Zanzibar beaches and all what Zanzibar has to provide. Overnight at Ocean Paradise Resort, booked on half broad basis with dinner and breakfast added.

In one of the days we can arrange a tour in Zanzibar for you at extra cost. The most perfect tours are the Spice plantation tour, the Prison Island tour, and tour of Stone town, the Dolphin tours or the complete day of "The Safari Blue tour".

Day 10: Pick the flight

Breakfast at the beach resort and with checkout at 10:00 am you can stay around the beach place till time to transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
