Following your time in Tarangire, journey onward to the breathtaking Serengeti and the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, showcasing the rich biodiversity and stunning topography of East Africa.

As you navigate from the rim of Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengeti, take in the sights of various wildlife, including animals, birds, and reptiles. You’ll also have a chance to engage with the vibrant Maasai culture as you pass by traditional bomas, where you can explore their huts and experience their unique way of life.

Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be welcomed by our friendly driver who will transport you to your hotel in Moshi. If time permits, explore the charming town of Moshi or relax at your lodge in preparation for your upcoming safari adventure. You will also meet with our operations staff and guide, who will provide you with essential information regarding your safari itinerary.

Accommodation Option: Overnight at Moshi

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up and briefed before setting off towards Tarangire National Park. This stunning park features iconic baobab trees and seasonal swamps, attracting vast herds of elephants and a variety of other wildlife, including giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, zebras, and warthogs. Keep your eyes peeled for predators such as lions and the elusive leopards. Enjoy panoramic views from the open roof of your safari vehicle as you take in the breathtaking landscapes. In the late afternoon, head to the nearby Kizumba campsite for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will continue your journey through fertile highlands cultivated by the Iraqw people, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. By midday, you'll arrive at the vast Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's largest park, rich in diverse landscapes including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, and mountains. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular migration of thousands of wildebeests and zebras. Spend the night in the Seronera area in Central Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a game drive across the Serengeti, following the animal migration in the northern region. Keep an eye out for wildebeests, zebras, topis, hartebeests, elands, and a variety of birds. Enjoy a packed lunch before continuing your exploration of the Serengeti, making your way to the park gate to check out before proceeding to Ngorongoro Crater. End your day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite on the rim of the crater.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for over six hours of incredible game drives. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to around 30,000 animals, including Tanzania’s rare black rhinos. With a year-round water supply and rich fodder, the crater supports diverse wildlife, including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and massive African elephants. Witness an array of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive, then drive back to Arusha Town in the late afternoon.
